Desert Diamonds featured in National Women's Show Our two Ontario based distributors, Christine Neilsen and Tammie Jones, recently teamed up to participate in the National Women’s Show in Toronto, Ontario Canada. Hailed as the “ultimate girl’s day out”, the show allows Toronto women to shop ‘til you drop at over 450 exhibits and find everything from food and wine sampling, fashion shows, celebrity guests, free makeovers, health, wellness & beauty secrets, cooking demos, home renovation advice and travel ideas! This year’s show was a great success, and provided a great opportunity for Christine and Tammie to profile Desert Diamonds in Toronto and beyond. Tammie writes “The show was absolutely awesome, and Christine did a fabulous job of making the booth and tables look professional and enticing! The signs were gorgeous. The booth was almost constantly crowded, with everyone wanting to get a good look at our lovely products!“. Bangkok Annual Christmas Promotion kicks off at the ANZWG Melbourne Cup Lunch Sara Martin, our Bangkok distributor will be launching her annual Christmas promotion at the ANZWG Melbourne Cup function on 1 November 2011. Katharina Seyffert joins our team as new distributor for Georgia, USA We are pleased to announce that Katharina Seyffert has joined our team as a new distributor in Georgia, USA. Katharina’s previous experiences include all aspects of logistical supply, transportation, foreign language correspondence, marketing and supply automation. She is looking forward to introducing new customers in the United States to the Desert Diamonds Collection! I have first learned about the beauty and elegance of the Desert Diamonds through my husband who presented them to me while working in Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates in 2004. Great day out for Desert Diamonds at Applefest 2011 Burlington's annual Applefest was held this year on 25 September 2011. Tammie Jones, our new distributor for Southern Ontario, Canada used this opportunity to show her collection of Desert Diamonds for the first time. Tammie writes: "We had tons and tons of people stop by the table. Almost everyone commented on how lovely the jewelry is! Several ladies took my card when I explained about home parties. Rings and earrings generated the most interest. It was a great day with perfect weather - could not have asked for better!" Welcoming Tammie Jones, new distributor for Southern Ontario, Canada We are pleased to welcome Tammie Jones, the latest addition to our Canadian team. Tammie is based in Grimsby, Ontario and is looking forward to introducing the Desert Diamonds Collection to the Southern Ontario market: I am originally from Canada, and have lived in five countries so far. I was first introduced to Desert Diamonds by my cousin, Catherine Vellinga, who is a distributor in Sharjah, UAE. I was drawn to the high quality and sparkle of the products! I attended many of Catherine's Sparkler Parties as well as several shows where the products were displayed and loved seeing other people admiring Desert Diamonds as much as I do! With a background in Customer Service, I recognized the strong foundation of providing a quality product at a good price, which drew me to start distributing in Canada. Fantastic Growth for Desert Diamonds in 2011 We are thrilled to announce that in the past few months we have welcomed 5 new distributors to the Desert Diamonds Team. We had the pleasure of meeting Joselyn Winograd our new distributor for Riyadh – Al-Yamamah in April. Helen Johnson has joined our team as an Authorized Consultant for the Lancashire area in the UK. Anne Bouji has been appointed our new distributor in Oman/ Muscat. Anne takes over for Jeni Holmes who has done an outstanding job representing Desert Diamonds in Oman over the past years. Replacing Katie Browne, is our new distributor Dalia El-Nuzar who will be representing Desert Diamonds in Kuwait City. And last but not least we are pleased to announce the appointment of Ursula Binnion as our new distributor of Desert Diamonds in Bahrain, taking over for Jane Barroclough. Welcoming Helen Johnson, new Distributor for Lancashire Area, UK Please join me in welcoming our new distributor for Lancashire in the UK, Helen Johnson. Helen is married to Greg whom she met whilst working in Saudi Arabia. They have an eight month old son called Sam. Helen and her family currently live just outside of Preston in Lancashire, and she has decided to reignite her passion for Desert Diamond jewelry, which she first discovered in Saudi Arabia, by becoming an Authorized Consultant. Helen was educated in Northumbria University, Newcastle Upon Tyne. Soon after graduating she moved to Saudi Arabia to pursue her teaching career and lived there for almost three years. Joselyn Winograd has joined as an Authorized Consultant for the Al-Yamamah Compound and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia. Joselyn is taking over for Barbara Fuering who has done an outstanding job in Saudi for the last 2 years, and who is now moving on to British Columbia, Canada, and fortunately for us, taking Desert Diamonds with her! Our Saudi Arabia Distributor interviewed on local TV Dr Modia Batterjee, our Desert Diamonds distributor in Saudi Arabia and Spokesperson for "A Women's Stand" was being interviewed for Saudi television while wearing the Desert Diamonds Pink Ribbon Butterfly Broche. The interview was about the Largest Human Awareness Ribbon in the World, an event that took place on Thursday night October 28, 2010. During the event, Saudi women broke the Guinness World Record for the largest human pink ribbon in the world. Sally |
